Professional Athlete Council
The SWAG’s Professional Athlete Council is being filled with a diverse group of current and former professional athletes from major sports, who assist The SWAG staff in mentoring SWAG players and alumni and their families, and in cultivating community relationships, as well as well in building a rapport with the generous corporate sponsors and donors who support The SWAG’s programming.
Business Leadership Council
The SWAG’s Business Leadership Council is being filled with a diverse group of donors and sponsors who share a passionate commitment for The SWAG’s work. Leadership Council members work closely with The SWAG’s Professional Athlete Council as well as the City and Region Advisory Board to spread awareness, assist with mentorship activities, help SWAG players gain introductions to private schools that offer scholarship support, and broaden our resources.
Philanthropy Leadership Council
The SWAG’s Philanthropy Leadership Council is being filled with professionals involved with the philanthropic world who are helping The SWAG access leading charities involved in supporting African American and immigrant children in underprivileged areas of major American cities.
City and Region Advisory Board
The SWAG’s City & Region Advisory Board is being filled with leading representatives from the City of Philadelphia and the region at large, who work closely with our Professional Athlete Council to broaden the reach of our community programming and our access to training facilities for SWAG athletes.
